SHERWOOD — St. Francis Parish Knights of Columbus council 9137 installed 530 crosses in a large field here to remember aborted unborn. The “Field of Crosses for the Unborn” project can be seen on the north side of Tualatin-Sherwood Road, where it intersects with Langer Farm Parkway.

The display, which will remain up through January, is an extension of Respect Life Sunday on Jan. 22. January is the anniversary of the 1973 Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision.

St. Francis pastor Father Ysrael Bien dedicated the crosses, which were paid for by the Knights.
